Partnering in Prayer
In Exodus 17:8-16, one finds the account of the battle between the Amalekites and Israelites. We read, as long as Moses held his hands up, the Israelites were winning, when his hands were lowered, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses grew tired, Aaron and Hur held his hands up. The Israelites were victorious with the support team. Moses built an altar and said, “…For a hand was lifted up to the throne of the Lord.”
The task for CLA continues to broaden as more and more requests are filed with the office. That which was started 26 years ago, has ministered through gifts and donations from scores of people over the years that have lifted up “our (CLA) hands”. The bottom line in accomplishing anything for God is because of “hands lifted up to the throne of the Lord.”
After a meeting with a supporter, I began reviewing the need for prayer warriors to commit themselves to holding CLA up, as Aaron and Hur helped Moses.
I would like to start a CLA prayer network of “lifted hands” to help us fight the battle in equipping Africa leaders. The heart of anything that is accomplished in and for the kingdom requires prayer. I am looking for a support team who will commit themselves to praying for the ministry of CLA to make a greater impact.
We have many challenges before us. There are requests from 10 countries impacting 19 groups. Some of these countries require a great deal of logistical planning to import CLA resources. We and the Africans seek your support through prayer.
Here are three things prayer does:
It takes warriors like Aaron and Hur to support others who physically battle to bring the victory. If you have or are willing to be part of the prayer team, please fill out the form on this page.

Here are three things prayer does:
- Prayer Unites – Acts 1:14, “These all with one accord were continually devoting themselves to prayer.” We become one in Christ.
- Prayer Clarifies- Matthew 26:4, “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.” It keeps one focused on the mission to be witnesses of Jesus Christ.
- Prayer Benefits – James 5:16, “The prayer of a righteous man avails much.” It brings answers to oneself and others.
It takes warriors like Aaron and Hur to support others who physically battle to bring the victory. If you have or are willing to be part of the prayer team, please fill out the form on this page.
